To make up for the lack of pictures over the last few posts I figured I'd put up a few Christmas shots to hopefully give you a tiny glimpse of our Christmas this year....
Aunt Sharon trying to keep Ella from exploding with excitement as she waited anxiously to go down and open gifts Christmas morning.
Don't you just love the look on Sharon's face? To me it says "take the picture and get this flailing child off my non existent 9 month pregnant lap!"
I thought Catherine looked adorable in her little Disney headband. She wore it all morning long.
A cute picture of all the Koerber cousins in their Christmas eve jammies. Obviously not a Christmas theme, but it's nice to be able to wear them all winter long. I absolutely love Ella and Catherine in their matching Tinker Bell outfits.

Just a little something
Catherine got a super soft Tinker Bell blanket that Ella was definitely coveting. I had to post a nice moment of sisterly love as they snuggled in it together and watched TV.
I know that's not much but we tend to forget to take pictures of ourselves and as a family. You all got to see the lovely family shot I posted right before Christmas - showing the reason why you won't see many deMontaigne family pictures - we just don't cooperate for them.
One final note totally unrelated. For those of you Grey's Anatomy fans - The Caedmon's Call and Derek Webb song Ten Thousand Angels (written by Sandra McCracken) was played last night during one of the final scenes with Bailey's baby. I watched it and really liked the song and wanted to find who did it - and then received an email from Derek Webb himself (HA!) telling me all about this morning. I can't believe I didn't recognize them but I wasn't expecting to hear Caedmon's Call on one of the most watched shows in the country. Pretty cool! Let me know if you happened to catch it...

Cute pictures, Megan.
I watched Grey's the other night and noticed the song, too, but was too tired to find out who it was singing it. I'm ashamed of myself for not noticing it was Caedmon's Call. I'm usually on top of those type of things!
thanks for the tip on the song!
that's how I discoverd matt kearney, I did a search for a scrubs song and found his site. he had a song on grey's as well. you can listen to all his music on his website. very cool
yeah, eric got that email from derek webb, too - but i haven't watched grey's in a long time. i'm not a huge TV person... that is until Lost comes back... then i'm a freak :P
really cute pictures meg!!!!
Megan,
Do you remember me? Karen "Whaley's" brother's wife... anyway she sent me a link to Mike's blog to let us know about Caleb and on it I saw a link to you blog... I LOVE IT... I am a blog addict... I love reading random thoughts about others lives... I just said to Scott.. Yea another blog this is so exciting... Did you know Cadman's Call sang on Grey's Anatmomy? This is the kind of stuff I love reading about (he on the other hand uses the internet to read about things such as polictics or sports...) Anyway, thanks for the great reading!!!
Megan, I don't watch TV really ever but I do like Caedmon's Call and love it when people give me tips on new music. I'll have to look that one up. And the picture from Christmas are fun! I am glad your girls were able to share the blanket and sit still long enough for that picture!
Love the pics! We need to see those girls again soon!
I watched that episode, and thought it was surprisingly spiritual over all. it was interesting to see how they dealt with the "God" of it all. I didn't necessarily agree with it all, but it was cool that they included that song!
Hi Crystal and Courtney - both newer visiters - thanks for commenting! I think the Caedmon's song was played during the surgery and wasn't as prominent as the one that played at the end which was by Lifehouse and that song was the one that really stood out to me. I realized that when I went back and watched it again.
Courtney - I agree with you on the episdoe - introducing the aspect of faith was a good thing but done in a non Christ centered way - obviously! It was touching because I believe that God can heal people but I don't believe people on their own can heal others...
Hi Megan! Happy New Year!! I've been by, but haven't had a chance to comment until now. Just wanted to let you know that we have two Firefly dvds from Netflix at our house right now. My husband is so trying to get me into it. (He loved the movie Serenity and consequently put Firefly on our queue.) I just wanted to let you know that because of your recommendation, I'm giving it a shot! Not loving it yet, but I'll stick out these disc and then go from there. My husband thanks you! Love all of the pics, but the way!
